It only takes seconds to register with WPerrorFixer by enter ing your Wordpress URL and password. Then WPerrorFixer can usually fix your WordPress within moments, leaving you with a record of any changes made. All that’s left for you to do then is reset your password. Can't find Your Error?

If you can't find your error in our list, there are two likely reasons.
  • The first is that the error is not with WordPress but in your own device,ISP, hosting, for example if your server is experiencing additional traffic that it can't handle, either on your website or on a website you share a server with. These problems are usually temporary.
  • The second possibility is that you have a rare and unusual error; all the common ones are covered by our list. If this is the case then your quickest option is to contact the Official WordPress Support team. Before you do though, it would help us enormously if you could outline your problem using our Feedback/send a new error facility so that we can develop a solution for future releases.

    A completely blank page, the dreaded "white screen of death"


    Why? You have a configuration error with the server or errors in your WordPress files,plugins or theme.

    You don't have permission to access /wp-content/themes/directory on this server

    Why? This error is caused by incorrect permissions from your WordPress files.

    404 Not Found


    Not Found
    The requested URL /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/file.php was not found on this server.

    Why? The server gives this error when either a) it can't find a file, or b) if all your posts are returning a 404 error it is likely to be a database problem - either way WPerrorFixer can fix it.

    "500 Server Error" , "500 Internal Server Error" , "HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error" ,"Internal Server Error" ,"HTTP 500 Internal Error" or "HTTP Error 500"

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Why? This message appears when the server can't define the problem. Usually it is a code bug or a wrong configuration. WPerrorFixer will find the error and correct it.

    Error 522: Connection timed out


    Why? This is usually because a process in the server has overrun to the point that it can no longer complete. Let WPerrorFixer check the server and website and if it can't find the problem you will need to check your device or ISP, if possible by trying the same operation with other device or via another ISP.

    Maximum execution time exceeded


    Why? This error appears when a process takes longer than the amount of time allocated to it by the server.

    Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute

    Why? If it disappears for a few minutes you don't have to worry it's just standard (if inconveniently timed) maintenance. If it persists your WordPress website has a problem with its updating process

    Memory exhausted


    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 23554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1348617 bytes) in /home/your_username/public_html/site1/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 22

    Why? The WordPress File named in this error has tried to allocate more ram memory from the server than the server’s configuration allows

    Error Establishing A Database Connection


    Why?Your WordPress website has a problem connecting its the mysql database. It may be your database has a broken table, or your WordPress software has not got the correct data to link to your database , or the server that hosts it has hit some limitation on your account or is experiencing a traffic spike. Use WPerrorFixer to check it out and if it’s not repairable WPerrorFixer will give you an outline of the problem for when you contact your hosting company.

    Mysql Error

    Examples:
    MySQL server has gone away

    Why? Your database of your WordPress website (Mysql) can't execute a query due to and error in the database itself or a server configuration setting (hosting companies set these limitations to prevent individual WordPress websites impacting the overall perfomance of the server).
    WPerrorFixer will either fix it or give you some information with which to contact your hosting company.

    Why? There is a bug or error in the named file and line and WordPress can not execute the file commands. You can either update the affected theme or plugin as per the error message or, if this is not possible for any reason, WPerrorFixer can de-activate the relevant plugin or theme so that you can use your WordPress administration to update and re-activate them.
